* Acetaminophen and Oxycodone are the main ingredients in Percocet pills!
All kinds of people have accidents, or experience some kind of physical injury at one point in their lives.
The following drug reviews of this painkiller pill are a good read of how the product works and why people use it and what positive effect it has for their pain. And what better way to get it then purchasing it online without going to the doctor, and having to go through the trouble of getting a prescription.
| "I have been taking Percocets for quite a while now and my tolerance has built up over time for all pain meds I take. I mix my dose with 90 mg of Morphine every day and the only difference that I do feel is that when I run out of my meds my pain returns. But the bright side my dosage takes the edge off and I usually take about 3 to 4 pills every day."
| "This pain medication works great, but unfortunately due to the nature of my accident is that my feet and ankles swell up. But with the right dose the swelling seems to go down nicely and my pain is very tolerable so I don't plan on going off this product any time soon."
| "I have been using these pain meds for about 10 months now and I can feel the difference in my joints and affected areas of my body as they are healing over time. It's a great pain reliever and sometimes when I do take a few extra and have a little less on some days I don't feel any withdrawals."
| "I suffer from a severe neck injury (after having 3 surgeries) that unfortunately rendered me disabled way before my time. I tried to use Morphine, Fentanyl and other pain medications but I could barely get out of bed while using those. After switching to Percocet 10 325 MG four times daily this has effectively lowered the pain in my neck and I am able to function with a little bit of extra energy thanks to the Oxycodone that comes with this pill."
| "This drug worked wonders for my pain. I took it for just over 3 months and dosed down as my pain went away. I decided to stop using this painkiller and haven't noticed any weaknesses or muscle aches after my discontinued use."
| "I have been on this pain medication for nine years now. I have degenerative disc disease as well as 3 herniated discs. L-3.5 L4.5 and L5.1. However, while using Percocet I am able to function to the best of my abilities and don't feel any type of side effects due to the type of dosing I do which is one in the morning, one after lunch and dinner and one before bed time. These pain pills do really work!"
| "I've tried almost all of the RX medication pills on the market and Percocet does seem to eb the one that works the best because of the Oxycodone that comes mixed with the pill. Vioxx used to work pretty well, but after a while I developed a skin rash with long time use. Vicodin does work but about half as good. Pills like Celebrex and Naprosin and Tramadol don't help at all and I wouldn't waste my time suggesting these to anyone. I've tried the 'Tens', PT, massage and the Chiropractor but for Siatica and RA Percocet works the best - just take into consideration losing weight and exercising to help the muscles stretch and strengthen during the healing and medication period of its use."
| "For my degenerative disc disease my back hurts all the time and my dosage is 5 MG of Percocet for two months now and my pain is kept at bay. I am thinking of increasing my dosage and even sub-prescribing Oxycodone for better results because of its excellent result mixed with the Percocets and this makes me sleep at night really well."
| "Being a retired Firefighter and Paramedic with numerous chronic musculo-skeletal pain sites because of job related traumas, my most debiliating is a C5-6 and C6-7 heniation of the discs. I used to have a C4-5 fused in 1998 but my degeneration continued cause me shoulder and arm pain. As well, I have 2 torn rotator cuffs since 2007 that is more severe when it comes to pain. I am inoperable due to a series of physical complications, but taking this painkiller along with Oxycodone in the right dosage daily gets me through the day just fine."
| "This pain medication stays in my system for 72 hours however Morphine drug tests are less sensitive to Oxycodone as they only pick up higher doses. There is a certain specific urine test for Oxycodone / Hydrocodone which is not included on a regular basic 7 panel drug test. It's usually included on a 15 panel or professional healthcare drug panel. But nevertheless, 72 hours is the most that Percocet stays in your system and it really kills my pain."

Percocet Dosage
 | | Administration and dosage for Percocet should be adjusted to the severity of the user's pain accordingly. Occasionally it may be very necessary to exceed the normal dosage amount in cases of more extreme pain or if opiod tolerance has reached a certain level. If the pain is constant, this opioid analgesic needs to be dispensed at regular intervals around-the-clock orally. Be careful with Percocet dosage levels. |
Oops! Dependence and Addiction - Feeling Addicted?
Identifying the signs of Percocet addiction begins with the person himself or herself who feels the need to keep taking this painkiller or by those who may live or work with closely, seeing changes in the person and their behaviour. With a legitimate prescription it might be a little tougher to discern when use has turned into an addiction. But, the following signs may help identifying this issue:
When a larger sum of money on Percocet prescriptions develops month to month
The daily intake of Percocet is kept secret from others
No other painkiller will do, other then Percocet itself
When interest on how to handle pain is only kept to this painkiller itself
Finding yourself in an emergency room with pain symptoms
Doubling up on Percocet prescriptions through many different doctors, usually called "Doctor shopping"
Running out or losing Percocet prescription frequently (usually by taking more then usual)
Is it possible for Everyone to Develop an Addiction?
The answer is no. This addiction can be developed in some people psychologically and physically. This does not happen to everybody but there is no sure way knowing if it can happen to you unless you try. Some instances may increase the development of Percocet addiction and these include:
A drinking habbit develops
Possibly a genetic predisposition to addiction development
Some co-occurring psychological disorders
Another drug turns into an addiction
Problematic family structure or a marital relationship
A desire for social isolation
How Would I Find out if I am Addicted?
When taking this prescription (or if you are naughty, buying it somewhere else) - it is not easy to take a look from the outside in to see and determine your situation. An objective opinion in your confidante comrades and friends may be needed, or you could honestly just answer some questions yourself. If the below statements may describe you, then probably a Percocet addiction issue may be at hand:
Multiple Percocet prescriptions
Taking more then the recommended dosage of Percocet
Having fun with alcohol and other drugs while using a Percocet prescription
Crushing these pills and snorting them instead of swallowing them
Running out of money on Percocets
More hours spent lying down because of feeling so "out of it" on this prescription
Lying and feeling embarrassed when questions are asked about your Percocet usage
What can I do if My Loved One has an Addiction?
You cannot force someone to get help if they don't want to. This is true with any type of drug addiction, or prescription addiction or any other type of addictions. A good way is an intervention, where you sit down formally with family members who really care and address the issue of this addiction. There is a good chance that loved ones will not right away see the situation in the same light right away - and this will take some time to open their eyes and see the long term effects of long-term Percocet abuse that is damaging their health, relationships, opportunities and day to day life experiences.
If an intervention is opted for, please enroll your loved one in Percocet rehab and it has to be made sure that the first day in enrollment is the first day of the intervention. This will immediately allow treatment after agreeing during the intervention stage.
Any doubts about putting together an intervention for your loved one can be countered by hiring a professional interventionist. An interventionist is a calm and objective party that is involved in the healing process and will help the person to understand what is needed to do to proceed safely, who to include in the intervention, when to hold this intervention and run this event keeping people on track and nonjudgmental. If your loved one agrees to go to treatment, the interventionist can act and escort them to needed treatment.
Addiction and How the Treatment Works
Percocet addiction treatment usually begins by the addressing of physical dependence through detox and thereafter tackles psychological cravings through a process called therapeutic treatment. The longer a person stays in treatment, and a more comprehensive program is chosen - the more successful the addict will be in recovery.
How does Addiction Enrollment Start?
You can enroll anyone - yourself, a loved one - in our suggested addiction treatment program (link coming soon).
The easiest way if you find yourself addicted is to dose down over time, making sure you follow your dosing regime. This has worked for many people, just like quitting smoking or any other addiction.
The dosage of Percocet pills can be cut down by either lowering the dose of the pill by ordering a lesser dose, or keep the same dose level in order and cut off 1/4 at a time per pill usually every 2 weeks.
Normally, if you put something into your body for over 4 days every day your body does adjust and expect this to be normal. So the typical approach is to dose down using a lower dosage level of any type of painkiller pill.
But it's all in your head, so if you want to quit - you can. There is no problem with dosing down on any type of drug or painkiller and your body will adjust to it properly over time until you stop taking it.
If you feel you need help or are in trouble, or took too much of any type of medication, call the Poison Help line at 1-800-222-1222 immediately.
To quit taking Oxycodone and Percocet and Oxycontin type drugs, ask your doctor to prescribe you Suboxone. This will take away the withdrawals if you have any from all opiod medications if you don't want to dose down and quit that way.
